Overview:

With the development of wireless networks and the upgrade of vehicles, some advanced techniques such as autonomous driving will be accomplished in the near future. Recently, the concept of V2X is proposed based on the vehicle communication V2V. V2X mainly focuses on the communication between the driving vehicles and other entities such as vehicles, signal lights, pedestrians, and IoT gateways, in order to achieve a series of services such as pedestrian safety, vehicle service management, and route optimization. However, one single method of communication and data processing cannot meet the all the requirements of V2X. Therefore, a merged architecture of heterogeneous networks and a hierarchical computing mode are needed. Our study focuses on how to coordinate multiple transmission methods and data processing methods so that the whole system can work efficiently.
