Machine Learning and Big Data

Overview:

Welcome to the new age of big data. Data has shown its value in many areas and will surely continue to impact the world in the future. In our lab, machine learning and big data technology are developed to solve real problems, especially focusing on the areas of communications, smart grid, internet of things and cyber physical system.

 

Our lab has possessed the following capacity:

  • Data Storage System

To deal with projects with massive data, we have implemented multiple database systems (e.g. MongoDB, MySQL) and distributed systems (e.g. Hadoop). Based on these systems, we could manage both structured and unstructured data. Furthermore, large-scale data storage and processing tasks could also be handled.

  • Machine Learning Algorithms

We have detailed studies about most popular machine learning algorithms, including Supervised Learning, Unsupervised Learning, Semi-supervised Learning, Reinforcement Learning and Deep Learning. We could flexibly apply these tools for real cases.

  • Machine Learning Platform

To better apply the algorithms for projects, we now use TensorFlow as our implementation framework. By employing Tensorflow, we have implemented most machine learning algorithms and distributed computing.

Now, we are cooperating with several famous companies on the big data projects.
